초록본문(Abstract) We study the approximation of functions localized on a region in the time-frequency domain from local samples of the short-time Fourier transform. Using a local Gabor approximation of the function, we obtain an error estimate in terms of a joint time-frequency concentration measure. We also consider the projections onto a subspace of eigenfunctions of time-frequency localization operators, and show that the local Gabor system satisfy a frame-like inequality on the subspace.
