초록본문(Abstract) Logistic function is an S-shape function used frequently for analyzing the dependence of binary response on explanatory variables. Presently we model the binary response using a family of S-shape functions which includes the logistic function as a special case. Bootstrap procedure, normal approximation and calibrated bootstrap are used to construct confidence intervals for the individual parameters in the resulting model. It is found that the bootstrap confidence interval and the confidence interval based on normal approximation have comparable performance, and calibration procedure tends to improve the coverage probability of the bootstrap confidence interval.
