초록본문(Abstract) | In solving transportation problem, recent developments have seen interest in the inclusion of several more kinds of attribute (other than classical cost or profit optimization) which may even be incommensurate attributes. There exist several approaches in solving transportation problem with multiple attributes by means of an interactive multi-objective mathematical programming (MOMP) technique which allows a decision-maker to input his fuzzy preferences with respect to the multiple number of objectives that need to be concurrently optimized in a compromised way. The literature, however, seem to lack solution techniques that would deal with a real life decision-making situation involving a group of decision-makers who would probably have different (even conflicting) preferences. In this research, we propose to utilize a fuzzy programming formulation and binary search technique (adopted from Tapia and Murtagh) as a methodology to solve multi-objective transportation problem as a group decision-making concern. |
