초록본문(Abstract) | In this research, order conditions of Runge-Kutta method for directly solving special third order ordinary differential equations are derived. Based on this order conditions a new four-stage sixth order Runge-Kutta method for the integration of the special third order problem is constructed. The zero-stability of the method is proven. A set of test problems is solved using the new method and comparisons are made when the same set of problems is reduced to a first order systems of equations which are solved using existing Runge-Kutta method. Numerical results have clearly shown the advantage and the efficiency of the new method. |
