초록본문(Abstract) | Multiwavelets generated by scaling vectors have been studied in various fields of applied mathematics. In this talk, we are interested in constructing a biorthogonal pair of compactly supported multiscaling functions possessing Hermite-type interpolating property with dilation factor $2$ and multiplicity $4$. It is well-known that symmetry or approximation condition is one of the most desirable properties in many applications such as signal and image processing. Necessary and sufficient conditions for approximation order are stated in terms of filter coefficients. Under suitable additional conditions on derivatives, we determine whether Hermite-type interpolating multiscaling function and its dual simultaneously have symmetry conditions or not with a given approximation order. To illustrate our results, examples are provided. |
