초록본문(Abstract) Optimal control problems governed by convection-dominated diffusion equations are studied. We consider a finite difference discretization of the model problem with Dirichlet boundary conditions. For the approximate solution of the discrete problem, the multigrid for optimization (MGOPT) method is utilized. Numerical experiments are presented to show the computational performance of the proposed multigrid strategy in solving optimal control problems subject to convection-dominated diffusion equations.
