초록본문(Abstract) In this study, a global pulsatile cardiovascular system was developed to obtain a measurable pulsatile pressure output in the finger arteries. The goal of the study is to model and investigate the blood pressure regulatory mechanisms during the exercise phase as in the bicycle ergometer test. A feedback control represented by the baroreceptor loop is constructed. The fundamental approach is to obtain a stabilizing control by minimizing a cost functional, thus steering the system to the desired state. A nonpulsatile counterpart of the current model was utilized to provide basis for the construction of feedback control. Simulation results provide a description of an overall response of cardiovascular dynamics when a submaximal workload is imposed driving the system from initial equilibrium rest condition to equilibrium exercise condition.
