초록본문(Abstract) | The r-Whitney numbers are generalization of r-Stirling numbers of Broder. In this paper, asymptotic formulas of the second kind r-Whitney numbers obtained using a modified saddle point method of Temme and that obtained by an analysis similar to Moser and Wyman are shown to be asymptotically equivalent in the extreme range of a parameter. Moreover one of the formulas are shown to be valid for non-integral values of the parameters. |
