초록본문(Abstract) In this paper, the model for the transmission of malaria disease with nonlinear incidence rate is modified to describe the dynamics of malaria transmission. The stability of the system can be controlled by the threshold number, known as the reproductive number ($\Re_0$) which investigate the existence and stability of the equilibria. It is found that the disease-free equilibrium point(DFE) is locally asymptotically stable when $\Re_0$ is less than unity and unstable if $\Re_0$ is greater than unity. For $\Re_0>1$, the endemic equilibrium is locally asymptotically stable using the general theory of competitive system. Numerical results are shown that the contribution of the nonlinear incidence provides important guidelines for accessing control of malaria diseases.
