| 초록본문(Abstract) | In this lecture, I will survey some of the recent progress on the studies of steady irrotational transonic flows in 2-dimensional curved nozzles. Such a problem is governed by free-boundary valued problem for a mixed type quasilinear partial differential equation which becomes strongly degenerate at the sonic state. The lecture will be focused on the a new description of sonic curves and the existence of Meyer-type continuous transonic flows in a class of de Laval nozzles. |
