초록본문(Abstract) | The famous Niesen-Thurston classification theorem classifies surface diffeomorphisms into three types, based on their asymptotic behaviors. A generic mapping class, called "pseudo-Anosov", is characterized by its simple asymptotic behavior. In symplectic setting, one can study asymptotic behaviors of symplectic mapping classes, as higher dimensional generalizations of the above facts. In this talk, I will introduce some possible directions of generalizations, and also introduce a construction of "pseudo-Anosov" symplectic mapping classes. |
