초록본문(Abstract) | In this talk, I will introduce the current status of PQC standardization. Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) is needed primarily due to the potential future development of quantum computers. Traditional cryptographic algorithms, such as RSA and ECC, rely on mathematical problems that are believed to be hard to solve with classical computers. However, quantum computers have the potential to solve certain mathematical problems much more efficiently than classical computers. To address this potential threat, NIST PQC team(USA) and KpqC research group(Korea) have been developing post-quantum cryptographic algorithms that are believed to be secure even in the presence of quantum computers. This talk will be helpful in understanding the characteristics of emerging PQC algorithms. |
