상산젊은수학자상
목적 젊은 수학자들의 우수연구결과를 포상하여 수학분야 대학원생 및 젊은 수학자들의 연구 의욕을 고취하고 한국의 수학 연구 능력을 제고하는데 목적이 있다. 세계 수학 선진국들은 젊은 수학자를 대상으로 하는 각종 상을 수여하고 있으나 한국에서는 최초로 시행하고 있다.
재원 본 상은 홍성대 상산고등학교 이사장이 기부한 2억원으로 운영하며, 2008년 제정되었다.

대상업적 피추천된 사람이 전문 학술지에 발표한 논문을 심사하여 선정

학위논문상
목적 국내대학의 수학 박사학위과정에서 우수한 연구 업적을 쌓은 신진연구자를 발굴, 포상하여 학위과정 중의 젊은 수학자들의 연구의욕을 고취하고 이들이 한국 수학계의 발전에 기여할 수 있도록 하는데 그 목적이 있다.
재원 본 상은 고 노유미 교수의 모친인 허봉희 박사가 대한수학회에 기부한 1억원으로 운영하며, 2017년 제정되어 2018년부터 시행한다.
수상자 자격 국내 대학에서 박사학위를 취득한지 2년이 경과하지 않은 자로서 우수한 학위논문을 작성한 연구자
