kms 대한수학회

2023년 7월 16일부터 7월 28일까지 중국 베이징에서 The 1st International Congress of Basic Science (이하 ICBS)가 열렸다. 

ICBS는 수학, 이론물리학, 이론컴퓨터 및 정보과학 등 세 가지 기초과학 분야에 초점을 맞춘 세계적 규모의 국제대회로 올해가 첫 번째 행사이다. 

이 행사에서 시상하는 두 가지 상 중 Frontiers of Science Awards상은 수학, 이론물리학, 이론컴퓨터 및 정보과학의 34개 분야에서 지난 5년 동안 학문적으로 중요한 업적을 낸 논문에 주어지는 상이다. 
이 상에 허준이 교수, 김명호 교수, 오세진 교수, 박의용 교수, 최경수 교수의 논문이 수상 논문으로 선정되어 한국 수학의 역량을 보여주었다.
