초록본문(Abstract) | Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) is a cryptographic scheme that enables arbitrary computations on encrypted data while preserving security. For 30 years, FHE was considered an unsolvable mathematical challenge until Gentry's construction of the first FHE scheme based on ideal lattices in 2009. Since then, FHE has rapidly evolved into a crucial area of cryptographic research, offering significant potential for today's cloud-based services by fully addressing client privacy concerns. In this lecture, we will explore the evolution of FHE construction and its applications across various fields, including computer vision, natural language processing, audio analysis, and personalized medicine. Additionally, we will discuss the challenges that must be overcome for FHE to be successfully implemented in industry. |
