This workshop aims to explore the rich interface between symplectic/contact geometry and low dimensional topology.
Research talks will be spread out to allow ample time for interaction and collaboration.

 

The first week will also feature lecture series by Tobias Ekholm (Uppsala) and Ian Zemke (Princeton):
(1) Tobias Ekholm: Skein valued open curve counts
(2) Ian Zemke: Heegaard Floer theory, new perspectives and applications

 

There will be a lecture series given by Jae Choon Cha (POSTECH) in the second week.
(3) Jae Choon Cha: Topological and smooth disks in 4-manifolds

 

The program is tailored for both young researchers and established mathematicians, providing a platform for collaboration,
exchange of ideas, and the advancement of knowledge. By bringing together experts in these areas,
this workshop seeks to highlight the profound connections between these areas and inspire further breakthroughs at their intersection.
