초록본문(Abstract) | Knots are found in molecular chains such as DNA and proteins, and they have been considered to be useful models for structural analysis of these molecules. One interested quantity is the minimum number of monomers necessary to realize a molecular knot. The minimum lattice length $\text{Len}(K)$ of a knot $K$ indicates the minimum length necessary to construct $K$ in the cubic lattice. In this paper, we show the upper bound of minimum lattice lattice length of non-trivial 2-bridge knots with m tangles is $$\text{Len}(K) ≤ 6c(K) + 2m + 2h + 7,$$ where $h$ is the number of tangles which are half twist. |
